My name's Barry Fillier, also known as Bear Fillier. I'm a self-published author of children's books about the tooth fairies and how they turn the teeth into fairy dust and where they get the money to put under the pillow. No, I'm not a dentist. I am a Canadian motion picture pioneer, which means I've been in the film industry for over 50 years. I have worked in distribution and marketing, contracting films to play in theaters across Canada, representing studios such as Paramount, MGM, 20th Century Fox, Columbia Pictures, and independent film distributors in managerial positions. Some of the films I represented were The Godfather, 9 to 5, Stir Crazy, and In Praise of Older Women. In addition, I also operated my own company in the video retail market, supplying video stores with support products.
